This is a tribute to Candy Kiss, our oldest goat who died today. I traded for her in 2004 when she was almost 8 years old because I loved her deep red color.
Only eight days later our buck Cody escaped when she was cycling and so 5 months after she arrived she produced triplets for us: Pixy Stix, Tootsie Roll, and Zotz.

She was a beautiful goat; I'm so sorry she's gone.
Sorry to hear that she is gone. I'm glad her decline was brief and painless. I think you're right about her having a good life. :-)
Sweet!
Thanks guys! She was beautiful and made gorgeous kids. I wished she had lived longer, but winters can be so hard on older animals.
I'm so sorry. I also love her deep red color.
Thank you. She was the only red goat I have had. I wished she had made a red doeling for me to keep but the kids she made were awfully cute.
I'm sorry for your loss. She really was a pretty red. I'm sure she had a great life on your farm.
Thank you. I hope she did.
I'm sorry for your loss Donna. She sounded like a great goat, and was blessed to have you for an owner.
Jackie
Thanks Jackie- she was a nice goat, and I was blessed to have her for my goat too!
